This privacy policy informs you about the type, scope, and purpose of processing personal data (hereinafter "data") on this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland. A data processing agreement (DPA) according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Shopify. For US transfers, standard contractual clauses according to Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c GDPR and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework apply.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and performant web hosting).

4. SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.

5. Server Log Files

When you access this website, your browser automatically transmits data to the server: IP address (anonymized), date and time, referrer URL, browser and operating system, amount of data transferred.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Legitimate interest in stable operation, error analysis, and security. Storage period: max. 7 days anonymized (Shopify standard).

6. Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies (shopping cart, session, CSRF protection). Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TTDSG. Consent is not required.

Analytical or marketing cookies are only set after explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR / § 25 para. 1 TTDSG). Consent can be revoked at any time via the cookie settings.

7. Contact Form and Email Contact

If you send me inquiries via the contact form or email, your information (name, email, possibly phone number, message content) will be stored for processing.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract initiation) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Storage period: until your inquiry is resolved, at most until the expiry of statutory retention periods.

8. Processing when booking a seminar / purchasing a recording

When purchasing a seminar or a recording, the following data are processed for contract fulfillment: first name and last name, billing address, email, payment data (via payment service providers), order details.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Storage period: 10 years according to §147 AO.

9. Payment Service Providers

The following payment service providers may be used: Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin, Ireland), PayPal (PayPal Europe S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg), and possibly others. During payment, the necessary data are transmitted directly to the respective service provider.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

10. Video Embedding (Vimeo)

Videos are embedded on seminar detail and recording pages via Vimeo (Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA). When a video page is accessed, a connection to Vimeo is established.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Data transfer to the USA via the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Vimeo certified).

11. Fonts

The fonts used in the theme (Cormorant Garamond, Inter, JetBrains Mono) are loaded locally from the theme asset directory. No external Google Fonts servers are requested.

12. Your Rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:

I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to my services. The currently valid version applies to your renewed visit.
